Tradewinds Band is an award-winning 11-piece ensemble that has been a major powerhouse in the NY and Long Island music scene for over a decade. The band is known for performing a wide range of musical genres with six vocalists, a full horn section, and one of the region’s top rhythm sections.

Tradewinds has been featured in metro NY and Long Island’s most well-known venues, theatres, and celebrity events and benefits.

Many of the players are music educators, and clinicians and have shared the stage with major icons in the music world. Several have been guest artists at large events in the US and abroad.

“Rosa Negra” is a nine piece Long Island based Salsa band performing the music of Hector Lavoe, Frankie Ruiz, Marc Anthony, and more. Although singer, Tito Batista of Cold Spring Harbor and percussionist Benny Arocho of Huntington are of actual Spanish heritage, all of the band members share the same passion for the Afro-Cuban-infused rhythms of Latin, Jazz, and Salsa.

The band features some of Long Island’s finest musicians. Several of the band members are Broadway veterans, the band’s youngest member, trombonist Eric Miller is Julliard-educated and saxophonist, Wayne Shuster is an alumnus of the great Blood, Sweat & Tears.

The genre is from Sinatra to Santana, to 70's rock, classic soul, Broadway, and singing in foreign languages.

She has performed in NY at the Apollo, Metropolitan Room, and the University Club just to name a few. On Long Island, she was a staple at the Cinema Arts, Carltun, and Treme. Huntington Arts Council awarded her a concert in Hecksher Park. Additionally, she has performed for The Greater Port Jefferson Arts Council .

Most importantly, her concerts are audience driven. One goal in mind, never singing "at" the audience but singing "to". Providing musical therapy for the soul.

Rising from a small town in Long Island NY Mickey grew up listening to such bands as Van Halen, Falling In Reverse, Santa Cruz, etc. Music would always be a huge part in Mickey’s life until one day Mickey would decide to pickup the axe, Throughout the years Mickey would study under the like of guitarists like Kieran McAufflie, Mrs. Smith and Jacky Vincent before showcasing his craft. In July of 2019 Mickey Lyxx would be born starting on Instagram, Mickey would shred covers from artists like Whitesnake, Ratt, Steel Panther, etc. Mickey put out covers until he found a passion for writing and recording in which he fell in love with, Eventually it led up to the release of Mickey’s first Single “Defiance” which would rack up over 10K views on Youtube and put himself on the map, Since than Mickey has been released Singles pretty consistently racking up over 10K views on each single he releases! In April of 2021 he gathered local musicians Steve Macqueen and Casey Kohler to back him in his efforts into making a mark in the shred scene! Mickey would receive followers constantly and even win Elephant Indie Music Award Best Metal Single (1849)! In September of 2021 Mickey Lyxx would sign on his first endorsement with one of his favorite brands Elixir Strings. December of 2021 would be the release of “Freezing Speed” Mickey’s debut album containing his work from October of 2020 to November of 2021, the album contains special guests like Mark DiCarlo and Jacky Vincent to put it over the edge! Current day Mickey is spending his time playing live and recording getting ready to keep releasing music after the release of the album!

Anthony Raffa is honored to perform in the 2022 Long Island Fall Festival !

As a children's music theater director and event producer for John Denver, Anthony performed at the Windstar Aspen Music Festival for 8 consecutive years. During those events Anthony shared the stage performing with such artists as Kenny Loggins, Olivia Newton John, John Denver, Whoopi Goldberg, Denis Weaver, Carlos Nakai, Peter Kater and so many other fine artists, performers and musicians.

The Anthony Raffa Band maintained a standing Saturday Evening performance stay @ the legendary music room , The Back Fence, located in the heart of Greenwich Village / NYC – from 1996 through 2013. The band performed 2 shows per evening, 10 PM and a 2 AM show. Fun Times !
Other career highlights include opening for Hall and Oats, The Charlie Daniels Band and jamming percussion with Blues Traveler @ the famous Double D Music Hall / Aspen CO.
